Catering
Chartwells are the on-site caterers for Goodenough College and also run the Hospitality department.
The College provides a subsidised catering service, including breakfast, lunch and dinner, 365 days of the year, for all members. Breakfast and Dinner are served in the Great Hall, lunch is served in Freddie’s Bar. Freddie’s Bar and the Willy G Bar are focal points for the social life of each house. Both stock a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Freddie’s also sells cakes and snacks throughout the day.
IT and Television
The College provides a range of computing, television and related facilities to members.
1. In Members’ Accommodation
Through its partner, Forevision, the College provides access to the Internet from connections in every single room and flat.
Forevision also provide a TV service which can be viewed on your computer or a television.
2. Central Facilities
Each main building has a central media facility with a number of computers, printers, a photocopier and associated equipment. The basic computing facilities including internet access are free to members.
All public rooms and spaces around the College are covered by a wireless network which is also available at no cost to members.
Fitness
Nuffield Health Club in the basement of London House is equipped with a swimming pool, large gymnasium, aerobics studio, squash courts and therapy rooms and is available at discounted rates to College Members.
