Cultural life

With 90 countries represented amongst its membership the College is a vibrant place culturally. In addition to informal chats with one's neighbours and friends there is also a strong cultural programme each academic year. This programme varies in content as it is very much member-inspired and driven. In general though it involves members from one or more nations coming together to share and teach fellow members about their culture. This is achieved through individual activities or a week-long series of events. A typical culture week includes talks by distinguished academics, diplomats, or other noteworthy people, panel discussions by members, photography exhibits, film screenings, plays, arts & crafts displays, language workshops, concerts, specially prepared meals and theme nights.
