How you came to London?
I always wanted to study in London. Two years ago, I decided to take a break from my work and achieve some of my objectives in life. I consider London to be the right place for me to get the European art perspective.
Why you chose to live in Goodenough College?
A friend recommended Goodenough to me when I was in London looking for suitable accommodation for my family and me. I was impressed by the facilities and activities on offer and I felt coming to the College would make the move from Jerusalem easier and we would have a new home as a family.
What you think is special about Goodenough College?
How people remove their shields and become more open and easy to talk to while living at Goodenough. This means you make friends much quicker.
Your typical week at Goodenough?
I have study days and enjoy reading in the study room at WG as it has a cosy atmosphere. I normally go there three times a week and spend many an evening at the WG bar. I enjoy the DVD and horse-riding club and try and go along at least once a month. I play chess and go to Sunday night movies. This place is all about different experiences.
What Goodenough means to you?
I am very proud to be given the opportunity to be here. Some might say London has no heart. However when I come back to Goodenough after university or a tour of the city I feel at home.
